          A few years ago, Ivatan friends whose common love of travel and adventure, dreamt of having their own tour agency someday. Idiang Tour Services (ITS) was established in 2015 to promote the province of Batanes and provide tourist an easily accessible and regularly updated Batanes Tour Package guide and reference.

 

The name” Idiang” is a local term in Batanes, which means Fortress. Pre-Hispanic Ivatans used these IDIANGS to defend themselves from invading neighboring groups as well as foreign intruders.
